Close to Chico State University, convenient for visitors.
I found the overall cleanliness lacking. the towels were old and stained. The bed was uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that there was no coffee in the room, which is usually a standard offering in hotels.

The room had a very effective air conditioning unit, which was a relief during the hot weather.
Unfortunately, the linens had a worn look and could have used a refreshing upgrade.

Not for families with high standards
The location was decent, off the major road and away from the noise. The TV worked fine, at least that was a comfort amidst other issues.
It wasn't cheap for what you got but acceptable enough to just get some sleep.

effective air conditioning unit, refrigerator in room, basic laundry facilities
Housekeeping needs serious improvement!!! Stained towels, dingy sheets, and missing amenities in bathrooms do not create a welcoming atmosphere!!! A fresh coat of paint outside wouldn't hurt either!!!

The room had a fresh look with a new vanity and sink, making it visually appealing. While the bed provided comfort, the pillows were less than satisfactory. Unfortunately, some negative aspects included sheets needing bleaching, stained towels, and inconsistent hot water, which was lukewarm in the morning despite running for an extended period. However, the oatmeal served for breakfast was a nice touch.

Had a great time here with friends! Close to the National Yo-Yo Museum and the lively Silver Dollar Fairgrounds, we were never short on fun. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised by the room amenities, which exceeded our expectations. Definitely a good spot for anyone looking to explore the area without breaking the bank!
However, the bed was quite uncomfortable, which impacted our sleep quality. It needs better attention.
